Name and description
To create a new Zeno Mobile One project it is required to enter a name which must be unique from any other project you currently have on your device.
You can enter a description of the project if you wish but it is not mandatory.
If you want to create a project without a based on project, select your desired coordinate system and tap Done to create the project.
The new project is created and appears at the top of the Other Projects list.
Based on project
When creating a Zeno Mobile One project, you can base it on an existing project already stored on your device. The new project inherits all coordinate system settings, feature layers, CAD layers and web service layers from the source project, while the feature layers come through empty, ready to be populated with new data. This saves you from recreating feature layers and their attributes when you already have them set up elsewhere.
Any WFS, WFS-T or ArcGIS Online/Enterprise layers in the based on project will be created in the new project, but they will lose the synchronisation with their respective servers.
Tap on Based on project to select the project you wish to use as the template. If you have many projects stored on your device you can use the search feature on the top right of the screen to find the desired proect.
After selecting the project, tap Done to finish creating the project.
The new project is created and appears at the top of the Other Projects list.
Coordinate Reference System
New Zeno Mobile One projects use the WGS 1984 coordinate system and EGM2008 geoid model by default. If you want to change the coordinate system of the project, tap on Coordinate Reference System and select the required coordinate system, geoid model and transformation.
